Reedbeds
Reedbeds
are classified as wetlands dominated by stands
of common reed (Phragmites australis),
where the water table is at or above ground
level for most of the year. They frequently
incorporate areas of open water, ditches and
small areas of wet grassland, with wet
woodland often being found around the drier
edges.
