Reedbeds

Reedbeds are classified as wetlands dominated by stands of common reed (Phragmites australis), where the water table is at or above ground level for most of the year. They frequently incorporate areas of open water, ditches and small areas of wet grassland, with wet woodland often being found around the drier edges.

Mammals Otter, water vole.
Birds Reed bunting, reed warbler, sedge warbler, water rail.
Dragonflies Common darter, emperor, migrant hawker, ruddy darter.
