Yates 1775 map of the Potteries

This map shows Stoke and Newcastle-under-Lyme as they were in 1775. Bradwell woods can be seen in the top left corner with Burslem slightly to the right. This detail of the map spans as far as Weston Coyney in the bottom right corner. At this time Burslem and Hanley (Handley Green) were just small villages and Fenton (Lane Delph) and Longton (Lane End) were just strips along the main Derby to Newcastle road.
