Oak

This
wood in Weston Coyney is made up of deciduous
broad-leaved and evergreen trees. The
conservation interest lies in the fact that it
is a semi-natural woodland with many fairly
mature oak trees (Quercus robur). Several introduced,
non native plant species have become established
and, unfortunately, the site is regularly
used as a dump for garden refuse.
