This
site in Bentilee has no official status or grading but is a
valuable hedgerow attracting a range of insects
and small birds. The surrounding banks have a
good variety of plants; greater stitchwort (Stellaia
holosteoides), bush vetch (Vicia sepum),
nipple-wort (Lapsana communis) and
wood-sage (Teucrium scorodonia) have been
recorded here.
