The Staffordshire Bat Group is the county bat conservation organisation and is a specialist group of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. It was formed in 1990 and exists to increase the knowledge, understanding and acceptance of bats through promotional activities and research. The group has a varied membership and is run by a dedicated core of volunteers. Activities of the bat group include talks, bat walks, surveys, promotion work at shows and bat care and rehabilitation.

Membership of the Staffordshire Bat Group costs £7.00 per household per year. You can join by sending your name, address and a cheque for £7.00 (payable to The Staffordshire Bat Group) to:
